An Afternoon at the Dia Institute in Beacon, NY
Ave B art lovers gathered on a road trip to Warhol on Saturday Sept 3 to the The Dia: Beacon (a museum for Dia Art Foundation's renowned collection of art from the 1960s to the present). The Dia hosted a special exhibit featuring a range of paintings, sketches and even films from this famous artist.



Annual Beach Party at Lantern Point , Fairfield, CT 7- 11PM, Saturday, July 2.
Avenue B showed up in force for this fantastic annual party on the beach. The band played, we danced and many said it was the best party of the holiday weekend. Join us next year!



Sunset Sail on Sound Waters 80 foot Schooner, May 31, June 11, 6PM-8:30PM, Stamford
Bring dinner and your favorite beverage and watch the sun dip down behind the horizon from the deck of this beautiful 80 foot schooner. What a great way to spend an early summer evening. $30.



Ave B Club Game Night Wednesday, June 8, 7:00pm-9:00pm Valencia, 172 Main Street, Norwalk
Sometimes we hold Game Night at Valencia in Norwalk, as the owners are our friends and Avenue B is given the keys to the restaurant on Wednesday when it's closed to the public! We play a variety of board games, poker and other card games. Members: $10. Non members welcome too! $15.



2nd Annual Black Rock Blues Festival with the Legend: James Cotton Saturday, March 26, 7:30PM, Black Rock Art Center
Return engagement for the ‘sold out’ living blues legend James Cotton: "We're talking about the blues, loud and fast and getting down dirty, we're talking about James Cotton, a singer, stomper and harp–player extraordinaire." - NY Daily News. Avenue B purchased a block of 20 tickets for $25 each. What a great show in an incredibly small venue!



Stars of NBC TV's Last Comic Standing featuring Corey Holcomb, Alonzo Bodden and John Heffron Friday, March 11, 6:30PM at SCA Palace Theatre in Stamford
The standout stand-ups from the 2nd season of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" hit the road to share the hilarious comedy that has made them the fastest rising stars in funny business. We enjoyed our usual VIP treament (and great deal!) with a cocktail party before and nibbles afterwards at TidBit. What a fabulous night and an incredible value at $35.



Live R&B with Saxophonist Arthur Green and his band at Fat Cat Pie Company, 9-11 Wall Street, Norwalk.
Regular live music at everyone’s favorite hang-out! Kick back and enjoy a great afternoon of food and music – a perfect chance to meet some other music lovers and club members. Avenue B discovered Arthur Green in NYC last summer and now the guys at Fat Cat are hooked! Arthur Green has lived and played in New York City for most of his life and has played with jazz, funk and blues legends including Bazzi Bartholomew Gray, Abby Lincoln and many more.



Private Vodka Tasting for New Brand in Development on Saturday, Jan 29, 3:30-5:30, Toscana Ristorante, Ridgefield
Richard Kelley, renowned marketing expert (and friend of Avenue B) called upon Avenue B members to taste a new (and very different) brand of vodka that will be making its way onto the market soon. All the members signed confidentiality agreements and some of the sessions were video taped to be used for product development and investor presentations. We wish the team luck getting the brand launched.



Threads and Bread Holiday Party at Belmare, Wednesday December 8, 2004. Belmare, 62 Main Street, New Canaan
In honor of the season, preferred partner and acclaimed chef Margherita Aloi hosted a warm and festive holiday cocktail party for Avenue B members and guests at her restaurant, Belmare, in New Canaan. Members brought along warm winter clothes and non-perishable food and celebrated the season with some great new people while doing a little something for others. Northern Italian hor d'oeuvres and wines from the region were served. $30 each. Over 200 lbs of food went to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfeld County and the clothing went to Family & Children’s Agency of greater Norwalk. Thanks to all who particpated.
